Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of OFF PLAY at offplay.cc and any related services (the "Service"), operated by Devian Labs ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, to create an account. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed these Terms with you.

2. Your account

• You sign in with a Google account. Your display name and profile picture come from Google and are shown to other players.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your Google account secure.
• Each person may hold one account. Accounts are personal and may not be sold, shared or transferred.

3. The Service

OFF PLAY provides free browser games, private game rooms, chat, teams, tournaments, leaderboards and match history. We may add, change, suspend or remove any part of the Service at any time, including individual games, features and items, with or without notice.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to follow our Community Guidelines. In particular, you must not:

• harass, threaten, impersonate or discriminate against others, or post hateful, sexual, violent or illegal content in chat, names or drawings;
• cheat, use bots, scripts, engine assistance in live multiplayer games, or exploit bugs to gain an advantage;
• interfere with, overload, scrape, reverse engineer or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or other users' accounts;
• use the Service for advertising, spam, gambling or any commercial purpose without our written permission.

5. User content

You keep ownership of content you create, such as chat messages, drawings and team names ("User Content"). You grant Devian Labs a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and transmit your User Content as needed to operate the Service. You are responsible for your User Content, and we may remove any of it at our discretion.

6. Intellectual property

The OFF PLAY name, logo, artwork, software and content are owned by Devian Labs or its licensors and are protected by law. Classic games such as chess, Ludo and Connect Four are traditional games. Our card game is an original implementation of shedding-type rules and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Mattel or the owners of UNO®. 7. Third-party services and ads

The Service relies on third parties such as Google (sign-in, Analytics, AdSense), MongoDB Atlas and our hosting provider, and may display third-party advertisements. We are not responsible for third-party services, websites or ads, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.

8. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and may ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or terminate your access, remove content, or reset scores if you breach these Terms or if required by law, without liability to you.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy (for example of engine analysis or leaderboards) and uninterrupted availability. See our Disclaimer.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Devian Labs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data or profits. Because the Service is provided free of charge, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to INR 1,000.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Devian Labs against claims arising from your User Content, your misuse of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts with jurisdiction over Devian Labs's registered office will have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve any issue informally.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with a new "Last updated" date, and for material changes we will make reasonable efforts to notify you. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
